jacket blurb – yay/nay? for As You Were, novel in progress

“Most events in life you can plan by putting them on your iPhone calender with an alert that reminds you of when to appear without your parents riding your ass about where you were when such and such happened. But the day his father came home wasn’t on any calendar, and that strange man standing in the kitchen, Army duffels at his feet, freaked him out by the back of his head looking familiar. When he turned round, the man shouted, “Alex! Son, so good to see you again!”​ Alex didn’t reply. Matt spoke for them both. “What are you doing here? I thought you said you wouldn’t be home before we won the war in Afghanistan.”
